Please
understand that Arctist Studios holds the authority
as owner of the accounts under it to suspend
or terminate any account deemed necessary according
to the following rules of operation. Reading and
understanding these rules is solely the responsibility
of you, the account holder.
Services provided by Arctist and its affiliates are strictly prohibited from
displaying or carrying any of the following: Any obscene (sexual) content, Any
content exhorting violence, IRC chatroom services, Providing space for spammers,
hackers, and phishers, server overusages, and any other service misuse at the
discretion of Arctist.
FOR SHARED HOSTING ACCOUNTS:
Any shared hosting account that uses more than its
fair share of system resources (CPU, RAM, etc) will
be suspended indefinitely or forced to upgrade. Arctist
will notify you the account holder via contact information
provided on your account three days prior to suspension.
It is important to keep all contact information up-to-date
on your account for the purpose of such
notifications.
FOR NON-SHARED HOSTING ACCOUNTS:
For any virtual private server (VPS) that
is not managed, you the account holder are responsible
for maintenance on the software and security systems
for that VPS. Any problems that result in lack of
upkeep is not the responsibilty of Arctist and will
incur a fee if intervention is necessary to keep
the server running correctly.
For any dedicated server that is not
managed, you
the account holder are responsible for maintenance
on the entire server. Any problems that result in
lack of upkeep is not the responsibility of Arctist
and will incur a fee for repair intervention.
For all managed services, it is the responsibility of
Arctist to keep the service secure and updated. However,
it is not the responsibility of Arctist to secure any
server-side scripting that you the account holder may
have installed. Arctist is not responsible for poor coding
methods that result in an attack or a loss of data. |
